graduate credit information

Nonverbal Classroom offers Educational Practicum Class Credit offering educators and related personnel the opportunity to earn university credits by developing practical activities for implementation in their programs as a follow-up to Nonverbal Classroom’s workshops and seminars.

Credit Information

Upon completion of a 15-hour practicum project, one semester hour of graduate-level credit will be earned. The 15 hour project consists of three parts: 1) attending the workshop, 2) implementing the techniques, and 3) completing the homework.

Graduate level extension courses are designed to serve the needs of educators who desire professional upgrading, recertification, and/or salary advancement. Check with your school district/licensing board for specific state regulations. Individuals desiring to include this course in a Master’s Degree program offered at another institution should secure the approval of that institution prior to enrollment.

Credit is available for two courses: Nonverbal Techniques 101 (EDUC 9927A) and Cats and Dogs — The Art of Relationships (EDUC 9300B). Credit is offered through Chapman University, which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. For more information about Chapman University credit contact Kurt Norden at 800-758-6551 or via email at: norden@chapman.edu.
