82% of a teacher’s communication is nonverbal. In this skill we ask that teachers match their nonverbal communication to their verbal instructions. When asking students to stop, the teacher should also be stopped. In this clip the teacher begins her class by shutting the door, walking to her teaching spot, freezing her body and doing an ABOVE (pause) whisper to get student’s attention.

“I studied the videos on the website and tried it the next day. The video really sold me on the class. The stuff works. It’s such a relief to know I have a way to avoid confrontations and escalations. I complained a lot about getting up early on a Saturday to come to this workshop, but from the first 10 minutes was so engaged and glad I came. It was worth the time and money.”
